1 cup chopped nuts (or not, but you really should. I recommend pecans)
4 eggs or 1 cup of Real Egg
1/2 teaspoonbaking powder
1 cup of all-purpose flour
2 cups of sugar or subsitute (I use Splenda)
3/4 cup HERSHEY’S Cocoa or HERSHEY’S SPECIAL DARK Cocoa
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Heat oven to 350°F.
Grease a 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
Melt the butter (I use a microwave) in a medium-size mixing bowl.Stir in sweetener and vanilla. Add eggs, well beaten or the egg substitute slowly and beat well. Add cocoa and beat well until blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat more, while singing Devo song. Add nuts and beat a bit more, just for style; pretend it’s your kids.
Pour it into the greased pan and rest for not more than two minutes.
Put onto the middle rack of the oven, bake for 30-35 minutes.
Let cool completely (don’t forget to turn off the oven).
Frost if you must. Enjoy.
Here is some music to beat by.
