Our favorite Boy Scout finds there is something rotten inside of SHIELD and nothing will stop him from getting to the bottom of it.

Wow! This was an exciting ride. An action movie/political thriller/social commentary all rolled into one big ball of fun. Evans is still perfect as Captain America and Scarlet IS The Black Widow (though I don’t think they have ever called her that). Mackie as the Falcon soars in his role (see what I did there?) and Redford is…well, I can’t give too much away, but he gets it done. A one, two, three-punch and knockout of a movie.

One minor gripe which is not specific to this movie: Mercenaries who still can’t hit someone with automatic weapons? Come on, folks; this is getting old.

Otherwise, I highly recommend it. Take the kids, they’ll love it. This is a Marvel movie, so of course there is a mid-credits scene and a post-credits scene, both worth staying for.

Flytrap rating: 9/10
