A rather dotty drug don unleashes a plot to poison all of her customers, unless the US pays a ransom. Already, this plot is not looking good. Because said Duchess of Dope has blown up most of the Kingsman’s operations in the UK, they are forced to go to the US to get allies.
This was mostly good fun, but it lacked some of the thrill of discovery that the first one played so well. I also think it was a mistake to bring Harry )Colin Firth) back, as that was a major character moment in the first movie that this one now has dispelled. Add to that a loud and blaring/distracting score and this one loses some of the kick of the first one. However, it is often great fun and gets points for Elton John:
I’ll recommend this one; you’ll probably have fun. There are no post-credit scenes, so circle on out when they start their endless roll across the screen.
