Thor is back and it’s Hammer Time! Or not?
Review 2017 by Flytrap
Thor: Ragnarok

Rated PG-13

After losing his hammer to the Goddess of Death, Thor ends up fighting for his freedom as a gladiator, where he meets old friends and makes new allies.
There is a lot of fun to had in this film. It is fast-paced, rarely slows down and the comedy is usually played well. Goldblum is used well and there are a couple of hilarious cameos that were a pleasant surprise.
Cate Blanchett was awesome, antlers or not.
However, I thought there was a tendency to get too silly a few times and the resolution to everything seemed…weird. That might just be me.
I saw it in 3-D and I do not recommend doing so. It wasn’t a bit necessary, added nothing and made the film too dark. Otherwise, do go see it; it is a lot of fun. There are post-credit scenes, of course — it is a Marvel movie.
