It’s the old story: Girl meets monster, girl loves monster. Complications ensue.

When a custodian discovers a secret base is keeping a Creature captive, she plots to free him.
First of all, there are some weird things happening here, but I say this in a nice way. The cinematography is very green throughout most of it, but sharp and detailed. The sets have a bit of a throwback feel, but this is set in the Sixties and is trying to reflect it. Great acting and direction (and boobs!) help the rather cliched plot work.
However, I never really felt any empathy with the Creature, who is just a McGuffin for everyone else to react around. There were scenes that dragged enough to make me squirm; not may, but enough to notice.
Overall, I would recommend this one, but please note: There is some graphic sex and nudity that I should have enjoyed, except that a dad brought his 10-year old daughter in and set her down next to me. Leave the kids at home. There are no post credit scenes.
