The bad idea of building a theme park on a volcano is explored in this docudrama…But I digress. Claire(Howard) is tasked with heading a massive attempt to rescue as many dinosaurs as possible from the doomed island and she talks Owen (Pratt) into helping her. What neither of them knows is that there is another plot afoot.

I thought this sequel was better than the first Jurassic World. Although it’s not very smart (lots of people doing dumb things) and is occasionally predictable, it’s still a lot of fun. The dinosaurs look good and there is a least one moment that almost brought me to tears, so points for that.

Jeff Goldblum is wasted in this.

I’ll recommend this one. I did not see it in 3-D, but I could see where that might have made a difference. There is a ten second post-credits scene that can be skipped with no loss, although it was very pretty.
