A young woman goes searching for her father, and when she finds him, has to protect him from a congregation of alligators.
This is a nice, taught and well-paced film with no pretensions; it just wants to scare the piss out of you. There are several breath-holding scenes along with some good shocks and it builds on the story as it goes very nicely. I was really impressed by Kaya and how well she maintained her character’s level of resolve.
I did think that people shrugged off some really nasty injuries too easily and some scenes were a little too telegraphed, but this is a minor gripe.
I highly recommend this as a tight little thriller. Be sure to hit the loo before you go in. No scenes after the credits roll, so feel free to crawl out once they start rolling.
